# Contracts List: Revenue Dashboard

> Add summary contract metric widgets on the Contracts overview list, filtered by the same company, customer, and date controls.

The Contracts list dashboard shows summary metrics for the contracts in your current list view. You add widgets directly on the Contracts overview so portfolio figures stay aligned with the same company, customer, and date filters as the table beneath them.

## Prerequisites

Before you use the list dashboard, confirm the following:

* Revenue recognition is enabled for your organization.
* The contracts list dashboard is enabled for your organization.
* Your role can view contracts on **Accounting > Revenue Recognition > Contracts**.

## View metrics on the Contracts list

Open **Accounting > Revenue Recognition > Contracts** and use the Overview (or other status) tab. Where the contracts list dashboard is enabled, a metrics panel appears above the list. Widget values refresh when you change list filters such as company, customer, and date range, so the board always describes the filtered set rather than an unfiltered book.

Status tabs do not change the metrics. The board follows the company, customer, and date filters only, and the MRR-family widgets always summarize active and completed contracts whichever tab you are on. Switching to Draft or Archived leaves every widget value unchanged.

This panel is separate from the organization [Dashboards](../reporting-analytics/dashboards) area under the main navigation. Use the Contracts list dashboard for contract portfolio summaries while you work the list. Use the main Dashboards area for cross-module KPI boards and Display Mode presentations. Use the same list filters when you [export contracts or performance obligations](./import-multi-contract-usage) so exported files and on-screen metrics describe the same population.

## Add, arrange, and verify widgets

Enter edit mode on the list dashboard to change which metrics appear:

1. Choose an available contract metric from the supported set.
2. Add, replace, or remove widgets as needed.

Keep in mind:

* Each metric must be unique. The same metric cannot appear twice.
* The board holds at most three widgets.

Outside edit mode, drag widgets to reorder them. Widget order is shared across your organization, so reordering the board changes it for everyone. DualEntry retains visibility and card-size preferences for your user after reload. Compact and large card sizes are available so the panel can sit above dense contract lists without crowding the table.

After you save the layout, confirm the end state on the list itself. You should see at most three summary metrics above the table, reflecting the current company, customer, and date filters. Reload the page once to verify that order, visibility, and card size persist. Change a filter (for example, a single customer) and confirm every widget recalculates for that subset before you rely on the board in a review meeting.

## Next steps

* Build organization-wide boards in [How to Build Dashboards](../reporting-analytics/dashboards).
* Drill into schedules in [Revenue Recognition Reporting](./reporting).
* Import usage for the filtered book with [Import Multi-Contract Usage](./import-multi-contract-usage).
