# Usage and Tiered Pricing

> Configure flat or tiered usage pricing, prepaid usage drawdown from a pool of funds, and import usage records across many contracts.

Usage-based performance obligations recognize revenue from consumption records you submit rather than on a fixed schedule. This section covers how to price that consumption, how to fund a prepaid drawdown pool, and how to feed usage in.

* **[Usage Pricing: Flat and Tiered Models](./usage-tiered-pricing)**: price usage obligations with flat, graduated, volume, or block tiers, and reconcile amounts when usage changes.
* **[Usage Pricing Models: Reference](./usage-pricing-models-reference)**: definitions and worked examples for each pricing model and tier scope option.
* **[How to Configure Usage Drawdown](./usage-drawdown)**: invoice a prepaid usage pool, record consumption against remaining funds, and top up when the balance is insufficient.
* **[How Usage Drawdown Works](./understanding-usage-drawdown)**: the pool-of-funds model, how consumption recognizes revenue, and what happens when usage exceeds remaining funds or prepaid credits go unused.
* **[Import Multi-Contract Usage](./import-multi-contract-usage)**: upload usage across many contracts in one bulk import, and export contracts or obligations for mapping.

To feed usage continuously from an enterprise data warehouse instead of a file, see [Analytics Ingestion](../../integrations/data-and-analytics/analytics-ingestion).
