# VAT Return redesign and Copilot file uploads (Apr 29, 2026)

## Features

* **VAT Return redesign** - The VAT Return report now displays a 15-column detail layout grouped by country and transaction direction, with a dedicated filter bar for country, company, direction, and rate type. A new HMRC-ready summary view renders the 9-box grid alongside a rate-type breakdown table, with KPIs for VAT on Sales, VAT on Purchases, and Net VAT shown at a glance.
* **File uploads in Copilot chat** - You can now attach files directly in the Copilot chat interface. Uploads are more reliable and handle larger files without errors.

## Fixes

* **Bill form improvements** - The bill entry form has been updated for a smoother, more consistent experience when creating and editing vendor bills.
