# Sandbox redesign, statistical accounts (Jul 10, 2026)

> July 10, 2026 release: sandbox environment redesign, statistical accounts and journals, billable expenses, user date format support, and copilot fixes.

## Features

* **Sandbox environment redesign** - Moved the expiry countdown from the banner into a compact topbar pill showing time remaining. The full banner now only appears for eligible migrations with a clear "Migrate now" action.
* **Allocation schedule improvements** - Customer and vendor dropdowns now show all active customers and vendors, not just intercompany records for the destination entity.
* **Documentation access** - Added a direct "Docs" link to the main navigation header for quick access to help resources.
* **User date format support** - All date displays across reports, transactions, and data tables now respect your selected date format preference instead of showing a hardcoded MM/DD/YYYY format.
* **Statistical accounts support** - Account creation and editing now supports statistical account types with appropriate field visibility and configuration options.
* **Billable expenses tracking** - New billable expenses list page for tracking and managing expense items that can be billed to customers.
* **Statistical journal entries** - Added a new statistical journal section under Accounting > Transactions for non-monetary journal entry tracking.

## Fixes

* **Asset disposal creation** - Fixed error when creating asset disposals where transaction date validation was failing due to empty date values.
* **Chart of accounts totals** - Account totals in the footer now show the correct total number of accounts instead of displaying only root account counts.
* **Allocation schedule activation** - Fixed issue where activating inactive allocation schedules caused records to disappear from all tabs instead of moving to the active view.
* **Tab navigation indicators** - Active tab underlines now stay on the selected tab when switching between tabs on detail pages.
* **AI copilot menu positioning** - Slash command menu in the AI copilot no longer gets cut off at browser window edges.
* **Layout stability** - Fixed content width conflicts when both the navigation sidebar and AI copilot panel are open on narrow screens.
* **Contract approval filters** - Selecting approval status filters on the Contracts overview now properly navigates to the For Approval tab where those records are displayed.
* **Migration workflow validation** - Workflow nodes are now validated before saving to prevent configuration errors.
