# Edit policy overrides and inventory locations (Aug 28, 2026)

> August 28, 2026 DualEntry release: edit policy overrides by record type, allocation schedule bulk import, inventory location types, and QBO Canadian tax fixes.

## Features

* **Edit policy overrides by record type** - Organizations can now set how posted records behave when edited on a per record type basis, with fallback to the org-wide rule when no override is set.
* **Bulk import support for allocation schedules** - Bulk import now supports allocation schedules along with new header classifications.
* **Field mapping context tree improvements** - Field mappings support JMESPath lookups through an improved context tree, plus fixed value support for mapped fields.
* **Scheduled agent task expiration** - Unreviewed scheduled agent tasks now expire automatically after a new run completes, keeping task lists current.
* **Inventory locations with warehouse and aisle types** - Inventory locations now have a type, depth, and pickable, receivable, and usable flags, with only warehouses holding user-posted stock. In-transit transfers are supported with `shipped_on` and `received_on` dates, and same-day transfers still post as two legs.

## Fixes

* **Inventory adjustment rates no longer error on save** - Inventory adjustment lines with empty rates no longer cause a server error.
* **Bank-match rules stay within your organization** - Updating a bank-match rule no longer attaches a company from a different organization.
* **Bulk archive and recover respects company access** - Bulk transaction archive and recover actions now honor restricted-company access instead of ignoring it.
* **Item dropdown includes non-stock goods** - The item dropdown on item receipts and item fulfillments now includes non-stock goods, not just inventory-tracked items.
* **Canadian vendor bill tax now imports correctly** - QBO imports for Canadian vendor bills now read HST from the tax line detail instead of importing the bill net-only, so vendor payments no longer appear as overpayments.
* **Class mapping now migrates from QuickBooks** - Class mappings now migrate correctly from QuickBooks to DualEntry instead of being dropped.
* **Ramp vendor mapping sync no longer fails on new vendors** - When a bill names a vendor created in Ramp alongside its first bill, the sync now refreshes the cached vendor list and retries instead of failing with a missing vendor mapping error.
* **Balance Sheet Summary by company shows correct totals** - The Balance Sheet Summary pivoted by company no longer inflates USD totals for foreign-currency subsidiaries; converted balances are no longer added on top of the native functional balance.
* **Inventory adjustment rate now persists correctly** - Inventory adjustment lines now save and return the posted rate instead of showing \$0 while the general ledger held the correct unit cost.
