# Recurring records and EBITDA reporting (Sep 11, 2026)

> Release notes for September 11, 2026

## Features

* **Recurring records**: You can now stop a recurring transaction or edit its end date after it's created.
* **Change orders**: Contract change orders now support billing the full quantity of an obligation, not just the remaining quantity.
* **EBITDA income statement**: Accounts tagged with an EBITDA category are now excluded from Expense and rolled into EBITDA. Exports and scheduled packages support the EBITDA income statement. Accounting Intelligence reads the same tags, and AI Insights suggests categories for untagged accounts.
* **Money-out lists**: Bills, direct expenses, and vendor credits now show the expense account directly in list views.
* **VAT setup**: South Korea is now available in the VAT country dropdown, with default nexus and rate configured.
* **Custom invoice templates**: Templates now support a Stripe "Pay online" call to action and clickable checkout links in the PDF.
* **Report Center and Dashboard**: A new Period Lock preset category lets you jump directly to date ranges anchored on your companies' locked-through dates.
* **Customer and vendor lists**: You can now bulk edit company access across multiple customers or vendors at once.
* **HMRC integration**: Calculate and Submit now wait for the request to finish instead of polling, so the return updates faster and the status reflects the actual result.

## Fixes

* **Bulk imports**: Failed rows now show the actual reason a row was rejected instead of a generic "This row's data is invalid" message.
* **Rippling integration**: W-2 account mappings now include debit and credit accounts, which were previously missing.
* **Paper checks**: Printing, deleting, and recovering paper checks now require the correct permissions, so view-only users can no longer perform these actions.
* **Comparative reports**: Removed an unused endpoint that let user-supplied company IDs bypass restricted-company access controls.
* **Bank match sync**: Bank match group search sync now caps how much work runs per pass and continues the rest in the background, preventing large syncs from overloading search.
* **SFTP file pickup**: Fixed the default timezone used for scheduled pickup times.
* **Accounting Intelligence**: Removed a leftover reference to outdated chat response wording.
* **Fixed assets**: The Asset Status filter now correctly filters results in the Overview and Archive tabs.
* **Fixed assets**: Asset classifications now appear on depreciation schedules.
* **Chart of accounts**: Fixed UI flickering when switching a record from view mode to edit mode.
* **Intercompany journal entries**: Fixed a crash that could occur while editing a duplicated entry, which required a reload and lost unsaved data.
* **Items**: The Language Code field no longer loses focus after you type a single character.
* **Product tax codes**: Fixed an error that prevented deleting a product tax code from the kebab menu.
* **OCR**: Fixed an issue where creating a new vendor during OCR processing did not work.
* **Flux analysis**: Fixed a mispositioned resize handle on the metadata drawer that closed the drawer when clicked.
* **Custom reports**: Fixed row ordering so custom reports no longer fail to match rows due to malformed keys.
* **Budgeting**: Fixed the Actuals fiscal year dropdown so changing the year now updates the selected data.
* **Invoice and purchase order forms**: The PDF preview now stays in view while you scroll the form.
* **Avatars**: Fixed avatars being squeezed out of shape in compact layouts.
* **Nexus setup**: Selecting a country in the New Nexus drawer no longer closes the drawer.
* **Drawers**: Dropdown lists and date pickers now open above drawer panels instead of behind them.
* **Vendor payments**: Fixed the currency symbol shown for Amount Paid on bank accounts in SGD or HKD, which previously displayed incorrectly.
* **Breadcrumbs**: Long sibling page names in the breadcrumb menu now truncate instead of overflowing.
