Features

  • Tax exempt amounts in GST/VAT calculations: Tax on native GST and VAT lines now honors an exempt amount. DualEntry calculates tax as the rate applied to net minus the exempt amount, and the gross total continues to reflect net plus tax.
  • Usage drawdown for contracts: Revenue recognition contracts support usage drawdown, including a top-up endpoint and a check that blocks usage when funds are insufficient. Change orders and autorenew for usage drawdown are not yet supported.
  • For Approval counts in Bank Match: Bank Match account totals now show how many items are waiting in For Approval for each bank account, alongside the existing Auto and To Match counts.
  • Sage 50 migration support: Sage 50 is now available as a migration source when onboarding.
  • Dropbox file uploads for Accounting Intelligence: Accounting Intelligence can now save Excel and other binary files directly to Dropbox, resolving a previous limitation that only allowed text file saves.
  • Field-level strictness controls for close checklist tasks: A new organization-level strictness setting, along with per-record-type and per-field policy configuration, lets you control which fields are enforced before a close checklist task can be marked done.
  • Faster Recents updates in Accounting Intelligence: The Recents list now shows a generated chat title as soon as it’s ready, without requiring a page reload.
  • Item translations on invoice templates: Invoice templates now support translated item names, so invoices can display item descriptions in the customer’s language.
  • Activate and inactivate fully amortized fixed assets: You can retire a fully amortized asset to Inactive from the asset list or detail view, and reactivate it later. The asset detail view now shows a status badge.
  • AR dunning reminder configuration by company: Accounts receivable dunning reminders can now be configured per company, controlling how and when reminder invoices are sent.
  • Report Center remembers your last date preset: Report Center now remembers the date preset you last used for each report, instead of resetting to year to date every time you open it.
  • Tax rate details in the tax rate selector: The tax rate selector on invoice and bill lines now shows rate details on hover or focus, making it easier to confirm the correct rate without leaving the line.
  • Vendor credit create-and-match in Bank Match: You can create a vendor credit directly from an unmatched bank line in Bank Match, with the bank account and amount pre-filled, and match it immediately. Existing vendor credits can also be matched from Bank Match.
  • Account renumbers in bulk import field mapping: The bulk import field mapper now supports account renumbering during chart of accounts migrations.
  • Template-aware invoice PDFs with service period: Invoice PDFs now reflect the invoice template’s layout and include the service period on each line.

Fixes

  • Stripe invoice payment status accuracy: Stripe invoice payments now reflect the current state of their parent invoice instead of stale status text, so payments only show as skipped when the invoice itself is skipped.
  • Deel sync performance: Deel data syncs run faster by avoiding unnecessary database locks on records that are already up to date.
  • Consolidated payroll journal entry reliability: Fixed an error that could occur when payroll journal entries needed to update bank reconciliation items that had been removed.
  • Xero purchase order import: Purchase orders imported from Xero with free (zero-amount) lines no longer fail entirely. The paid lines now import successfully and free lines are skipped.
  • Xero customer migration: Customers now import correctly during Xero migrations instead of being silently skipped.
  • Financial connection refresh reliability: Temporary conflicts during scheduled bank connection refreshes are now handled gracefully instead of being reported as errors.
  • Bank Match sync performance: Bank Match group searches run with lower database load, improving responsiveness during matching.
  • Vendor payment and bill line import reliability: Fixed an issue where a failed line import could leave the import process in a bad state and affect later records.
  • Meld transaction sync speed: Historical transaction syncs from Meld run significantly faster, resolving slow lookups during large syncs.
  • Brex expense sync reliability: Fixed a decoding error that could interrupt Brex expense syncs. Vendor names that differ only by case or spacing are now matched to the existing vendor instead of creating duplicates.
  • QuickBooks Online address sync performance: Customer and vendor address backfills from QuickBooks Online now run in batches instead of one query per record, improving sync speed.
  • Sandbox provisioning reliability: Sandbox setup no longer sends duplicate invites to existing users when a lookup temporarily fails.
  • Vendor payment import check number updates: Bulk vendor payment imports can now update the check number by matching on the payment ID.
  • Ramp receipt sync: Ramp syncs no longer repeatedly attempt to fetch receipts when the connected account lacks permission to read them.
  • Login audit logging: Fixed an error that could stop login audit logging when session data was missing an IP address or user agent.
  • Audit Trail login browser and OS display: The Audit Trail Logins view now parses the browser and operating system from the login’s user agent instead of showing the raw string. This matches the display already used in Personal Settings.
  • Currency and account fields on list views: Fixed an issue where currency and account fields showed as blank on some list views.
  • Inbox count after direct approval: Approving a bill directly from the record view now updates the inbox count and tag immediately, instead of only updating after visiting the list view.
  • Approval workflow setting persistence: The approval workflow setting in Settings no longer reverts to its previous value after navigating away and back.
  • Attachment downloads in the inbox drawer: Fixed an issue that blocked downloading attachments from the inbox drawer.
  • Account list filtering accuracy: Account selection on other-tab fields now correctly filters by company access, inactive status, bank and credit card currency and company, and system retained earnings accounts.
  • Bank Match bulk rule application: Bulk-applying a Bank Match rule no longer silently drops bank statements that the rules lookup failed to return.
  • Amortization approval list load time: The amortization approval list now prefetches account data in a batch instead of issuing a separate request per row, reducing load time.
  • Three-way match report vendor name: The three-way match report now displays the vendor name on each line instead of leaving it blank.
  • Stripe payment for unmapped or pre-cutoff invoices: Stripe customer payments applied to an invoice that isn’t mapped or that predates the migration cutoff no longer hard-fail. DualEntry now falls back to recording the payment as a prepayment.
