DualEntry provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so Claude and other AI assistants can look up and post accounting records on your behalf. Every request runs under your own DualEntry role, so an assistant can see and change only what you could already see and change yourself in the dashboard.
Getting connected
If you’re connecting Claude, see Connect Claude from the connector directory. If you’re wiring up Cursor or another client, see Connect MCP Clients for one-click and manual configuration.
Once an assistant is connected, it appears under Connected apps on your personal Security settings page, with the date it connected and when it was last used. Revoke a connection there and the app is cut off on its next call. An app whose login has expired shows Needs reconnect and has to connect again before it can make requests.
