Prerequisites
- Accounting Intelligence access, to view the Agents tab at all.
- Organization admin, to create, edit, pause, resume, delete, or roll back an agent. Anyone with Accounting Intelligence access can view the list and open a card’s chat.
Create an agent
Creating an agent from Tasks uses the same definition drawer as Accounting Intelligence, so the fields and their limits are identical.- In Tasks, click the Agents tab.
- Click Create Agent. This opens the same definition drawer used in Accounting Intelligence.
- Fill in the five fields: Name, Instructions, Cadence, Entity scope, and Accounting basis. See the Scheduled Agents Reference for what each field accepts and how cadence options behave.
- Save. The agent appears as a card in the Agents tab, with its cadence and current status.
Run, pause, and review an agent
Once an agent exists, its card in the Agents tab is where you start it on demand, pause its schedule, or watch it run.- Click Run Now on a card to trigger a run immediately, without waiting for its cadence.
- Use the pause and resume switch on a card to stop or restart its schedule. This requires the same admin-level edit access as creating an agent.
- Click a card to open its chat drawer: the single, ongoing conversation that every run for this agent appends to.
Review a completed run from the board
A completed run doesn’t only appear in the Agents tab: DualEntry also drops a card for it onto the Tasks board itself.- When a scheduled run finishes, DualEntry creates an Agent Run card on the Tasks board, titled with the agent’s name, in the To Do lane.
- This card is visible only to you, the agent’s owner. Other users, including organization admins, don’t see it on their own boards.
- Open the card, or the agent’s chat drawer, and review the run’s output.
- Mark it reviewed from the card or the chat’s review action, or drag it to Dismissed if no action is needed.
